Weathered Stone Company LLC is a family-owned and operated company since 1985. You might recognize the name George Thomas Excavation and Landscaping. That's us. Same great service, new identity.
We specialize in excavation, landscaping, sitework and the building of uniquely weathered limestone rock walls. We use limestone quarried from our family farm in Comstock, New York. Using limestone for walls and landscaping -- a naturally-occurring, local material -- adds tremendous character and value to your property. We also work with local slate from Pawlet, Vermont and granite quarried from independently owed and operated businesses in Whitehall, New York.
We build roads, dig ponds, prepare sites for foundations and septic systems, build limestone, slate and granite retaining walls, patios and lot clearings.
